CPJ and its partners urged Council Chairman Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi, and Deputy Chairman Salem al-Khanbashi to reveal the full truth behind the killing of Aydah.
The letter further urged Yemeni authorities to provide regular public updates on the investigation’s findings. It also called for all individuals involved in the crime to be brought to justice, emphasizing that accountability must extend beyond the direct perpetrators to those who planned or ordered the killing.
